While many reach for whiskey, Patron Anejo makes for a spectacular Old Fashioned. The natural vanilla and oak notes of the tequila pair beautifully with the bitterness of aromatic bitters.
Combine two ounces of Anejo with a sugar cube and two dashes of bitters in a mixing glass. Stir with plenty of ice until well-chilled, then strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube.
Garnish with a wide strip of orange peel, expressing the oils over the surface of the drink. The citrus brightness cuts through the richness of the tequila, creating a perfectly balanced cocktail.
